Whilst Sailor Bay started as a duo project within the glorious walls of Wick Studios (Melbourne, Australia), it's drummer/producer – Dan Wick – sadly passed away before completing their debut EP (Wick Sessions), and it has since been the solo project of remaining songwriter/producer, Matt Mahalo, who writes and records everything in their home studio on the Gold Coast.
